I'm the numeracy correspondent for De Correspondent and the author of Het bestverkochte boek ooit (met deze titel).

In my former life, I was a PhD student of Econometrics at the Erasmus School of Economics and the Tinbergen Institute. I defended my dissertation Well-to-do or doing well? on December 19th, 2014.  Next to my research, I taught Calculus 1 and Probability Theory, and was part of the editorial board of the Tinbergen Institute Magazine

I also worked as a trainee at the OECD Development Centre, where I assisted in writing the flagship report Perspectives on Global Development 2012: Social Cohesion in a Shifting World. In addition, I was a consultant for Oikocredit Netherlands, member of the University Council of the Erasmus University and teacher of the Bachelor-3 course United Nations and Multilateral Diplomacy at the Radboud University.
